A roadside market on the way to Livingstone.
You really don't want to know what is in this bag...
"Taste beyond comprehension"....truly! Tobias threw out the bag after tasting one!
Our first view of Victoria Falls, from the Zambian side. You hear it well before you see it! Its Zambian name translates to "the smoke that thunders", as the mist goes high into the sky above the falls.
The flow at this time of year is at its maximum - we are about to get very wet!
Looking down the Zambezi, away from the falls. The bridge pictured links Zambia to Zimbabwe.
Beautiful leaf bug!
Lorna and Steph relaxing by the Zambezi river, Livingstone.
View over the Zambezi.
Charlotte and Steph on the bridge between Zam and Zim, with Vic falls behind.
Our friend Charlotte, just before doing the gorge slide across the Zambezi.
Our friend Charlotte doing the gorge swing...you should have heard her scream!
Its a long way down!
Bungeeeeeee! Charlotte is one brave lady! We were the brave support team :-)
Many Zimbabweans walk across the bridge to Zambia every day to buy food. It is awful to watch them walking back with huge loads to feed the family or sell on.
Gemma playing the with some of the local guys in Zim. "in the jungle..."
Tobias, Steph, Dom, Lorna, Gem and Alex - the Zim explorers!
David Livingstone, the first European to view the falls.
6 of us ventured over to Zim to view the falls and trade with the locals. There were so few visitors in Zimbabwe, but the view to the falls is spectacular from this side.
Giant millipedes - these are so cool when they curl up if you touch them!
Drinks with our guide Wendy on the last night of our tour with the main group.
